Kelly Robotham, born in New York, raised in Miami Fl. started dancing at the age of 11. She has trained in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, lyrical, and tap. Kelly attended New World School of the Arts in 2002-2006 and graduated with an award for Most Improved Dancer. Kelly has also trained at The Ailey School, Dance Theater of Harlem, and The Miami Conservatory on scholarship. Once she was accepted into The Juilliard School she worked with worldwide choreographers such as David Parker, Adam Hougland, Johannes Wieland, Azsure Barton, Robert Battle, and Camille A. Brown. She has performed famous works by Jose Limon, Peter London, Martha Graham, Mark Morris, and Jerome Robbins. During the summer of 2009, Kelly was selected from The Juilliard Dance Division to participate in a cultural exchange tour to Costa Rica and soon after she became an apprentice with River North Chicago Dance Company. After graduating from Juilliard with her Bachelors in Fine Arts, Kelly began her professional dance career with Ailey II and soon after joined the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater where she danced from 2010 to 2014.
